📂 1. Public Profile Activation

To calculate your points, your official Google Cloud Skills Boost profile must be set to public. Navigate to the Skills Boost portal, access your profile settings, click on the "Share Profile" button, and toggle the status to public. Copy and paste the resulting URL here. If left private, our real-time API crawler will be blocked, resulting in private-profile parsing errors.

⏳ 2. Badge Sync Latency (10m - 2h)

Completed a lab but don't see it here yet? Google Cloud Qwiklabs operates a distributed CDN cache network, meaning new badge completions take anywhere from 10 minutes up to 2 hours to replicate and display on your public profile. If a recently earned badge is missing from your points list, do not worry—give it some time and re-analyze.

🚫 3. Duplicate Badges Filtering Rule

The official Google Cloud Arcade scoring engine strictly enforces a non-duplicate validation mechanism. Completing the identical game badge, sprint, or skill badge challenge multiple times across different months or pathways will not reward multiple points. The points engine filters these out automatically to show your actual qualifying tier.

🛡️ 4. Scanning Privacy & Security

Your data security is our foundational pillar. This calculator runs safe, real-time read-only parsing on public HTML elements. We never request password inputs, Google auth tokens, or personal identifiers. The "Remember my profile" toggle saves your public URL strictly inside your local browser storage—never transmitting data to external DBs.
