1. Introduction & Agreement

At ArcadePoints Calc (referred to here as "we," "us," or "our website"), we operate an independent, community-driven points checking platform designed exclusively for students and cloud developers. We take your personal data privacy seriously. By accessing the tools, calculator functions, and catalogs on this website, you consent to the data collection and usage practices described in this document.

ArcadePoints Calc is designed to run entirely on a Privacy-First, Zero-Persistence Architecture. We do NOT host private databases to store, duplicate, or capture your Google Cloud Skills Boost credentials or public profile information.

When you input your Google Cloud Skills Boost public profile URL into our points calculator, our server-side fetching module performs a real-time HTTP fetch to parse only the public-facing badges and completion records visible on that URL. This lookup serves the single, temporary purpose of displaying your points and badge breakdowns in your active browser viewport. None of the parsed badge IDs, completion timestamps, profile names, or metrics are saved, indexed, or persistent in any storage system.

To enhance your convenience and eliminate repetitive tasks, we offer a optional "Remember my profile" mechanism. When you activate this toggle, your public profile URL is written securely to your browser's local storage (a localized file system strictly enclosed within your physical device).

This URL parameter is never transmitted to us or any remote systems when you load the application homepage. It is read locally by client scripts solely to pre-populate the profile URL input form. You can immediately wipe this configuration at any time by toggling off the "Remember my profile" switch or manual clearing cookies/local site data inside your browser settings panel.

Because we maintain no central server-side user directories or database structures containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII), we have zero capabilities to monetize, trade, sell, or disclose your user profiles, badge stats, or emails to external marketing entities. Your data remains strictly your own.

To ensure high site availability, optimize performance thresholds, and troubleshoot server routing errors, we utilize industry-standard analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Vercel Web Analytics). These scripts capture strictly anonymous technical parameters, including:

• Anonymized IP fragments.
• Browser client types and device window dimensions.
• Approximate geographic parameters (country/region).
• General navigation paths, clicks, and page loads.

This statistical telemetry is aggregated cleanly and contains zero trace variables connecting back to your individual public Google Cloud profile URL or your specific name.

Our portal references learning materials, solution indexes, and official platform coordinates, including external domains such as Google Cloud Skills Boost, Google Cloud Arcade, YouTube channels (GCP DECODE and CloudoArc), and Qwiklabs support portals. Once you click these redirects and exit our server boundary, please review the individual privacy disclosures of those target platforms, as we carry no authority over their external cookie deployments or user registration policies.

We reserve the absolute right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to accommodate changes in Google Cloud Arcade catalogs or Next.js core API updates.
